Good Morning, Sleepyhead

The art of falling asleep
You twist and you turn. The room is a little bit too warm, a minute later the room is a little bit too cold. You make yourself comfortable, instead of drifting off your head starts spinning.
You think to yourself, thoughts start rolling up like clouds on a rainy sky. They start spinning in circles, matching the likes of the strongest tornado. You think about all the things you should do, that you should have done, all the things you really ought to have done.
Then when you are just about to drift off, after fighting off those thoughts and struggling for relaxation.
You feel it, that familiar urgency. Roll off the duvet, step out of bed, time for a trip to the bathroom. Down the stairs and up the stairs.
Back in bed, you twist and turn. It's too warm, it's too cold. The thoughts play up again, your mind goes rewind and press play.
Finally you settle down and fall asleep.

The art of snoozing
You wake up. The room is cold and your body shakes from the shock of the cool air when you emerge from under the covers. Fumble with the alarm clock, press that little familiar button. Back in bed, it has never felt quite so comfortable, it has never been quite at such a comfortably warm temperature before. Your eyes have never felt quite so sleepy and your mind has never been quite so close to that lovely dreamworld that you were just so brutally ripped from.
You turn on your side and fall back asleep, ever so quickly and effortlessly.
Another sharp signal from your digital agony aunt, rips you once more from your foggy dream state. You get up, again shocked to the system by the cold air in the room. Stumble over to the noisy little thing, press the button.
Your mind goes rewind and press play.
Again you drift back to the welcoming fog of dreams and the perfectly warm cocoon of your bed.
